Prelim

As a group Talia, Emily, Olivia and myself worked well together. We allocated each other roles on what to do with production/filming/editing. We had a clear idea on how to set up the cameras as we have previously been taught how to do this in lesson.

At first we found it difficult to understand and get to grips with the filming, by trying to replicate the sheet above on video. Once we asked our teacher and other students, we learnt how to film the clips in a much easier way.

We picked two volunteers from our class to play the characters from the story board, then we established who read what part and this made it easier in terms of filming.

The premier pro editing programme was difficult to understand at first as were unfamiliar with the system, however after a few try's we managed to pick up the techniques. We only used the basic techniques of cropping videos and creating transitions.

To improve our prelim video in the future, we could as a group closely observe the 180 degree rule, and improve the filming for one of the clips. Additionally, if we had longer to get to grips with the programme, we could have used more advanced editing techniques.
